Macro and Details

I like to have a very close look at things.

Below the obvious surface there usually is the more interesting stuff to be found.

Trivial everyday things hide unexpected structures, colours, layers and details.

As do we.

So going out with my camera is always a journey into the unknown, discovering beauty in waste, in everyday household utensils, in the living world of plants and animals and in how light can make the most mundane things into fragile wonders.

This also inspires me for my work in the 3D realm and helps me create textures and materials.
